Today, as we mark the 22nd European Remembrance Day for Victims of Terrorism, we honour those who lost their lives and reflect on the impact of terrorism on our communities. This year, in particular, we commemorate the 10th anniversary of the attacks in Brussels, which claimed 32 lives and left more than 300 people injured. To acknowledge this solemn occasion, Catherine De Bolle, Europol’s Executive Director, shares her account of the events:
